Social Gathering 2014 in Junior High SGM Jakarta

On Friday night, Sekolah Global Mandiri Jakarta was very crowded. This was caused by Social Gathering as annual program in Junior High of SGM Jakarta. This program had purpose to introduce the regulation and culture of SGM Jakarta to the parents and new students. Otherwise, Mr. Dea as PIC of this program said, “The goal of Social Gathering was to strengthen the cooperation among parents, student and teacher.”

The program which had theme “Because Education is Our Concern” was held in the hall of SGM Jakarta. Mr. Wato as the master of decoration changed the room from ordinary became extra ordinary room. He cooperated with the teachers and students to decorate the hall. Mr. Wato and Ms. Nurul as MC, they began the program at 19.00. However, the students came to school at 17.00 to prepare their performance and then they welcomed their parents. 

The parents were smile when they saw the student performed in Social Gathering. The first performer was Oak with their mixing performance between acapella and rap. Then, the second was Cedar with musical role play about confusion student. Chestnut was the last performer with their mixing performance between rap and singing. Not only students who performed in Social gathering, but the teacher also gave their best performance. Mr. Afif as teacher of Bahasa Indonesia read his own poem entitled Di Bawah Bendera Pendidikan. Mr. Azmi as sports’ teacher performed his skill in juggling and invited his friend to show beat box.

Mr. Daryono as headmaster of SGM Jakarta who presented the regulation contract among teachers, students and parents appreciated this event because the event was run well.
